Elizabeth is a senior lawyer with over 30 years practice experience in a variety of areas. Elizabeth leads the family law team at Young & Young. Elizabeth graduated from Monash University in 1980 with degrees in both Economics and Law. Elizabeth was the Captain of the University Women’s Rowing Club and was a member of the winning Australian Intervarsity Lightweight Women’s Four championship. Representing Monash Elizabeth won the Victorian Senior Pair Oared Championship and represented Victoria at the Australian Rowing Championships.
Elizabeth was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria on 11 April 1985 and was placed on the High Court Roll in the same year. She practiced in taxation law, commercial law, personal injury law (including Dalkon Shield cases), deceased estates and family law with several mid tier firms in Victoria. In 1998 Elizabeth moved from Geelong to Bunbury. Since that time Elizabeth has worked in Bunbury, Busselton and Perth mainly in the family law jurisdiction. Elizabeth joined Young & Young in 2010. Elizabeth lives locally and breeds horses, including a national champion and a member of the Rio Olympic squad.Areas of Practice
