Michael Devlin
Michael is Young & Young’s in-house counsel and practises as a Barrister and Solicitor. With over 30 years experience in litigation and civil matters, Michael is one the South West’s leading lawyers. Michael has extensive trial experience, especially in jury trials; his main areas of practice are criminal law, personal injury claims and general civil litigation.
Michael spent 10 years training and working as a Clerk of Courts in Victoria, before qualifying as a lawyer in that State in 1984; he was admitted to practise in Western Australia in the same year. Prior to joining Young & Young in 1992, Michael’s main experience was in civil litigation in all jurisdictions, although he maintained an interest in all areas of law having lectured students in conveyancing and administrative law. Michael has appeared in all jurisdictions.
